More About Coach Nick

I am currently the head coach for Boulder High School lacrosse. I was the Defensive Coordinator for the Clark University Men’s Lacrosse program for the 2017 season. As part of the coaching staff I helped Clark with a historic season, which included a first ever appearance in the conference championship. Prior to Clark I was a varsity assistant and head JV coach for Melrose High School in Melrose, MA. At Melrose I was on a staff that helped win a Middlesex Conference Championship in 2014 and I was selected as the 2016 Middlesex League Assistant Coach of the Year.

I started playing lacrosse when I was ten and continued through college. I played high school lacrosse for William H. Hall High School in West Hartford, CT where I was selected for the CCC West All Conference Team and CIAC Second Team All State. After high school I played one season for Lasell College and transferred to Clark University where I was a starter for three years.

Players can expect an intense but fun session. Each session will be tailored to meet the player’s needs but would typically focus on conditioning, stick skills, positional skills, and team skills. Sessions would begin with a warm up working on dynamic stretching, conditioning and footwork. The session would continue into positional skills using drills that work on footwork and body positioning. We would finish a session with working catching, throwing, ground balls, and stick checks.
