More About Coach Nia

Growing up, I always placed myself in positions where I could help inspire individuals to be their best selves! I coached for several years in Savannah, Georgia and while playing college soccer in Atlanta, I privately coached individuals at the recreational and club level in the Atlanta and Decatur area. Currently, I am also a sixth-grade mathematics educator, and I bring my classroom knowledge and practices into my coaching! I am also pursuing my Master's degree in Teaching! My coaching philosophy focusing on developing the WHOLE player.

Captain of Agnes Scott College Soccer Team 2018-2019
Second Team West Division Agnes Scott College 2016
GAWSA Division 1 Team Member
Selected for South East Coastal All-Star Games 2015 & 2016.

A typical session includes a warm-up including dynamic stretching, small touches, and technical drills. Then we will move into drills more aligned with what the client needs. For example, If the client needs work on the first touch- the drill will be tailored as such. Each drill is tailored towards the position and unique needs of the player but still focuses on developing the players' technical skills as a whole. Drills tend to build on one another, and then come together as a final culminating drill at the end where the player is able to practice all that they learned. Fitness is heavily targeted and will be incorporated throughout the session.

Client Reviews

Our 10 year trained with Coach Nia. She had three sessions a week. The drills and attention to detail was something that we hadn’t see. In recreational soccer. She was encouraging but also pushed our player. She was timely and communicated well. We’d definitely recommend Coach Nia.

Coach Nia worked really well with my daughter. She provided feedback on trouble areas and how to correct them

Coach Nia is WONDERFUL! My daughter barely had her cleats off before she told me how much fun she had and how much she learned in just an hour. Nia was positive, engaged, directive and EXTREMELY knowledgeable. We've already bought several sessions - and when those run out, we're going to re-up for as many more as we can get at a time!!!!!
