A typical training session will begin with a dynamic warmup, which would include exercises that will wake up the body for an intense training session. Then we would progress to more technique-focused exercises with a ball, that will allow the athlete to flush any lactic acid out and activate the muscles that are required for a football training session.

The next part of the session would be related to small space scenarios and simulating game-like situations. This could is the main course of the session where the athlete and I will work on problem areas and simulate game-like experiences in order to better prepare. Multiple drills will work on accuracy and efficiency with and without the ball, as the goal is for the athlete to become a more effective player on the field. For example, if an athlete has problems with accurately getting the ball into the goal, drills that will emulate the intensity and speed of a game will be used in order for the athlete to efficiently be able to shoot with consistency and this will easily be translated come game time.
Example drill: Setting up targets in the goal and setting a baseline that the player must hit the target at least 15 out of 20 shots
with only two touches upon receiving the ball.
Drills will be tailored to a player's needs and requests after the first training consultation.

Finally, the training session will complete with a cool-down session involving dynamic stretching and the property recovery methods in order to be able to sustain such high-intensity training. At the conclusion of each session, a message will be sent via CoachUp evaluating the athlete's last session, areas where I feel they need to focus on, things to work on at home until the next training session, and what to prepare for coming in the next session.
