More About Coach Mo

My main coaching experience is training fighters. I have trained national champion Tae Kwon Do sparrers and many of the principles to building an exceptional athlete translate to training the health, fitness, and conditioning for anybody. My philosophy is simple: training needs to be fun, it needs to be challenging, and it needs to be consistent. Over the years I have changed non-athletes into athletes, from being a coach potato into a marathon finisher. My approach is simple, I find out your specific goals, I figure out your habits, specifically in both eating: the cues, routines, and rewards in your diet and your activity day to day. I build in healthy habits for both, and whenever we meet I give hard workouts as well as follow up workouts for you to use on the days you don't see me. Whether you're looking for your child to get into shape, or you're looking to make a positive change in your life, I believe I have the experience, communication skills, and knowledge to get you to where you want to be.

I have won two national collegiate Tae Kwon Do Sparring championships. I have ran a marathon and also trained a few non-runners into running their first half and even full marathon. I have competed across the world and have trained athletes across the world. I am currently building my boxing abilities and my brazilian jiu jitsu skills. I absolutely love competition fight sports and I plan on continuing my study throughout my life.

Our first session, we will likely go over an hour. I'll spend the first portion getting to know your goals, then tailoring the workout to you as we go. Expect a dynamic warm up, endurance and light cardio to get the blood flowing. Then I like to mix in martial arts and workouts that both build your self-defense ability and your strength and conditioning. Then I'll specifically target muscle groups and do either isometrics, or a series of weighted or body weight exercises. Then expect a burn out, a cool down, and foam rolling/stretching.
