Mike Whalen

I have 15 years coaching experience. I have coached middle school, junior varsity and varsity lacrosse. I have been a coach at Malverne Cold Spring Harbor and Bethpage High Schools. I currently still coach at the high school level. I have CPR first aid and AED certification.

I played both lacrosse and football at the varsity level for Bethpage High School. My teams have won county championships as well as State Championships. I played lacrosse in college and have been apart of a team that has been ranked number one in the country during the season. I am a four year starter.

We will start out with a cardio work out. It’s important to understand that anyone can do things when they are fresh and not under any pressure. We will then work on certain skills at both half speed and full speed. After that we will work on game type scenarios that the athlete needs to strive in his or her position. Finally to end we will work on something the athlete chooses to work on.
