I've coached ages 5 and up in private trainings to team sessions. I have been coaching for 11 years now mostly with youth ages but as well with some college and high school athletes. I have coached in New Zealand with academy teams from the club I played at Metro FC. In Ventura, I coached at their youth camps and acadamy which had ages ranging from 7-18. I've developed camps as a director and been involved as a coach.

Sessions depend on the age, the position, as well as the level of the child. I work on a lot of the basics like dribbling, passing, first touch, shooting, coordination, moves/skills, juggling, defensive and striking a ball. I work with kids on what they need to improve the most at as well as some basics. A typical training session without seeing or talking to the player will consist of a warm up, some coordination and passing to start off, then some dribbling. We will move into some shooting and striking a ball with both feet. I have a lot of experience and know a lot of drills on how to help improve kids at all skill levels!

Great advice for young players!

Mickey was a great coach. My son really enjoyed the training and could tell the difference with the other coaches he had. Mickey focused a lot on the details, and I can see his improvement in our after class practice. For sure it worth the time.

Coach Mickey is a great teacher of soccer. Even though my son has been playing soccer for years, Coach Mickey has taught him things he has never learned before. I can really tell the difference in my son's game. Especially significant is his 1 v 1 defense has visibly improved.
