I played college basketball at Middlesex County College in NJ

After leaving school I organized and founded Nickelodeon Sports Foundation, Inc., a community based Not-for-Profit organization that, till this day still provides organized recreation to both youth and young adults throughout the NYC Metro area.

Conducts both group and individual private workout sessions for ages 11 to adults. Skills and Conditioning Instructor, Shooting Coach, Basic to Advance Ball Handling instructor, both post and wing scoring.

Assistant Coach - St Aloysisus Middle School, Manhattan - 3 years - 2006 to 2009
Took the team from last place to 1st place in 3 years. Crowned CYO Manhattan Champs, then NYC Champs, Southern New York State Champs Ended up losing in the State Finals - 2009

Coach Michael is an amazing coach , he helped me develop the necessary fundamentals, and footwork to be able to progress my self. He pushes me to be the best athlete I can be , while giving advice and always willing to answer your questions. Coach mike is a very genuine man , who’s passion for basketball is very big. It was great, unforgettable experience for me. I have never experienced so insightful basketball session before. I was amazed how Michael understands basketball, his tips ranged from very technical, showing and imitating the movements with me, as needed, to thoughtful advices about attitude towards the game, ball and throws. I definitely recommend session with Michael!

I have been playing ball for 10+ years but never learned the fundamentals, so I decided to get a coach. After an hour with Coach Mike, I not only improved significantly, but also had a lot of fun and a great workout. I am now a regular student of Coach Mike.

Coach is an all star and the definition of a good teacher. Why do I say so?

- he knows his stuff cold. he not only gave me specific drills to work on, but he also knew exactly what feedback to give to help me improve. For example - on my dribble drills, to try to swing my arms, and sit lower. On jumpshot drills, to step with my opposite foot first to plant, and to try to land a little bit in front (i had been jumping backwards). Coach mike is an expert.

- the way he delivers feedback: timely, and short. The focus was on me improving as a player, not showing off his knowledge. Each feedback was also specific and simple - step this way, keep the ball lower.

- coach mike pays attention. My back had been sore from Muay Thai class and so he modified one of the drills to make it easier on me (I didn't ask for it, he just noticed it)

- coach mike is a great encourager. He gives a constant steam of positivity - "good job, nice shot" etc - which pushed me to go as hard as I could.

Bottom line: If you are looking to improve your game, I would highly recommend booking a session with Coach Mike.
