More About Coach Michael

I am currently the Head Women's Basketball Coach at George Fox University in Newburgh OR! I have been the Head Women's coach for the past 3 years and prior to this was the Head Women's Basketball Coach at Mount Saint Mary College in New York for 7 seasons. I have helped out with our youth camp and worked many camps across the country (Butler, Ohio State, Boston College and Army) as well as many others. I am CPR certified and currently work with 5 students; ages 9-17; 1-2 times per week. I have a flexible schedule beginning March 1st and am looking forward to helping you work on game while having fun at the same time!

I played collegiality at the Division 2 level from 2003-2007. I competed at Eckerd College in St Pete Florida and received a scholarship to play golf in college. I began my coaching career in 2009 at the high school level and began at the college level in 2010 at Alfred University, where I received my Master's in Business.

After I assess a clients ability I will develop a 30-60 min plan as we will work on fundamentals and all aspects of the game of basketball. My goal is for each student to have fun while improving their individual skill-set.

Coach Michael was great with our son Austin whose 13! It definitely seemed like he would learn a lot and we will continue to use him for the long term.

My son had his first private session with Coach Michael on 9/9. My son said Coach Michael was very nice. The coach had a great balance between working him hard and encouraging him. We are very pleased and look forward to the other sessions we have booked!

My son is 16 and was very pleased with Coach Mike. Coach Mike was patient and took the time to explain certain offensive and defensive drills. During the session he took the time to find out what my sons goals were. The session was definitely productive and my son is looking forward to continuing to work with Coach Mike.
