I coached 12u girls travel softball for two years, 16u girls travel softball for two years, coach at Hilliard Bradley HS, and I have been giving catching/hitting lessons for 3 years. I have also helped with University of Akron (my alma mater) softball camps.

I competed at the collegiate level where I played softball at the University of Akron. At Akron I was a four year starter where I played the position of catcher.

First we start out with stretching, then I will have the girls do some kind of agility drill like ladders or cone drills to fully get warm. During sessions we will focus on throwing to bases, blocking, framing, passed balls, throws coming to home plate, etc. I make sure the understand the fundamentals of catching, but pushing the athlete to their full potential while having a little fun.
