More About Coach Matthew

I have coached athletes at all levels from young kids, middle schoolers, high schoolers and college athletes. I have worked at the Bay Club in San Francisco, CA Multnomah Athletic Club in Portland, OR and all over Massachusetts. I typically work with middle schools and young kids trying to take their game to the next level. I have been coaching since 2007 when I was a high schooler.

I played high school basketball in Massachusetts where I was team captain and played college basketball at Dublin Business School in Europe. I have competed with NBA players and players of all levels.

A client can expect a fully committed coach who is going to do whatever the client needs and wants to get better. Typical work outs start with a stretch and getting loose, then followed by some full court dribbling drills. What we do next typically depends on what the client wants to improve on, sometimes it's shooting drills or game specific situation, I try and teach my players the mental side of the game as my basketball IQ is what allowed me to get to the next level.

Client Reviews

Matt did a great job with my son. He has some very practical and easy ways for my son to remember techniques for shooting. He also gave good tips on how to get more points in his recreational league.
