Client Reviews

Coach Matthew gave a very honest and thorough game analysis. We now know what to work on and how best to move forward. We look forward to additional training sessions. Thanks Coach!

Coach Matthew did a great job with my daughter. He kept it light with her while at the same time giving her a very technical lesson that will immediately help her game. She enjoyed her training session a lot.

Berkin really enjoyed training with Matthew.
He was very professional, curious about what my son thought he was good at as well as he wanted to improve, which was very refreshing as most of the time it is about what the parents want! 😀

Coach Matthew called me after the first session to discuss my son's strengths and needs for improvement. He was compassionate, honest, knowledgable, and easy to talk to. My son loved the first session and is looking forward to more.

My son really enjoyed his session with Coach Matt. He had a lot of fun and is looking forward to the next one. We liked Coach Matt’s style and his dedication to his athletes to help them improve.

My daughters first lesson was today, and she really enjoyed it. Coach gave her lots to work on, and she’s excited for her next lesson.

Coach Matt was great. You can tell he really wants to get the best out of his players both mentally and physically. My daughter loved her first practice with him and is looking forward to the next.

My daughter had a great session with Matt. It was amazing all they were able to accomplish. Looking forward to booking more sessions.

Coach Matt has been the best coach my son has had. Aside from responding to all of my messages very quickly- he arrives on time (or before time!) with a well thought out game plan. He very quickly assessed the areas needing improvement in his game as a keeper & ran excellent drills. Comments from my son were "He is very easy to understand & I really like him". I would highly recommend him!

I felt that Coach Matthew is a professional coach. My kid had a confidence after his first training session. He wish to keep his training with Coach Matthew in the future.

Our daughter has really enjoyed working with Coach Matthew. He is very knowledgeable and has done a great job of identifying areas of improvement in both her physical and mental game. The work he's done with her has been great. We also really appreciate how organized he is and how well he is able to break things down for us.

Matt has been great with my daughter. She loves going to her sessions! She feels the improvement. I love his flexibility for scheduling the sessions. Thanks Coach Matt!

Very happy so far. He explained his expectations, set up solid drills, encouraged and explained as he went with what he was looking for and set the tone for a good training session. My daughter is looking forward to the next session with Coach Matt

I always read consumer reviews myself, even when buying the most basic of items! Therefor, I feel compelled to let you know that Matt is the real deal! You get a fantastic soccer coach who has extensive knowledge of the sport and the ability to relate to the player. It's rare to get both and I know you will not be disappointed in choosing Matt for your soccer player. My son looks forward to each session with Matt and has grown tremendously as a player, specifically goalkeeper, under his guidance. In addition, Matt is very reliable and makes booking easy. He keeps better tabs on where we stand than I do and I always appreciate his prompt follow up. I 100% recommend Matt!

Coach Matthew is working with my daughter on improving basic soccer skills and her confidence. Her first session went very well and even though she is a shy person she was comfortable with coach Matthew and is looking forward to her next session. Coach Matthew is patient and provides positive feedback and encouragement. He also took time to discuss with me some drills we can practice at home. Furthermore, he always responds promptly to messages and was kind enough to show up a little early for our first session so he could watch some of her game and get a sense of her as a player. I thought that went above and beyond and illustrates his commitment to the kids he trains. I highly recommend Coach Matthew to other parents.

I hired Coach Matt to work with my 11 year old son to identify certain skills that needed improvement and to build skills and confidence. Coach Matt very quickly was able to build rapport with my shy son during the first session and immediately and accurately identified and began correcting my son's shooting technique.
My son has already made comments to me that he likes training with Coach Matt and he is looking forward to his future sessions.
Matt's positive energy, enthusiasm and passion for coaching was immediately apparent as was his experience and technical knowledge of the sport.

We were immediately impressed with Matt's coaching style & look forward to our son working with him.

Coach Matt has coached my son for about two years now. He has a great love for the game, and for the children. He motivates my son to do better, try harder, and to push himself beyond his limits. My son loves when Coach Matt is around because he knows he's going to get that extra push he needs from him. Coach Matt's love and understanding of the game is what gives him the ability to know exactly what each child needs, and pays very close attention to their strength and weakness, challenges them and helps them grow. Coach Matt is a very strong part of my son's team foundation, physically, but most of all mentally for not only my child, but all of the children.
Adaptive coaching is an art. Matt has a true knack for meeting a youth soccer player where he or she is, both mentally and skill-wise, and I’ve watched him build them up from there over a number of sessions. I have been most impressed with Matt’s ability to motivate my daughter to try harder, instead of giving up. Matt is that rare coach who balances high expectations with teaching moments specifically tailored to the player and the moment. He challenges in a positive way, and the kids respond by stepping up because they can tell that he believes in them. Small group technical work, getting back to basics, and learning how to make smart tactical decisions in game-like situations are the building blocks of Matt’s approach, and this has worked wonders for my daughter.
Matt coached my daughter for two years (U9/U10 level) and really established the foundations of her soccer skill. He brings enthusiasm, commitment and knowledge to each team and player he works with. He has a way of successfully coaching a team, but developing the individual player with his adaptive training style.
