More About Coach Mark

I played basketball for Mount Saint Joseph High School in Baltimore, MD. Mount Saint Joseph has a proven track record of improving high school players’ skills through Division 1-level drills and training. This program has sent many players to Division 1 colleges on full scholarships over the years. I absorbed a wealth of knowledge during this time and continue to teach others the drills, techniques, and philosophy that I was taught. I’ve held private lessons for elementary school-aged kids who want to improve their basketball game. I’m open to coaching any age.

Playing basketball for Mount Saint Joseph High School was my highest level of competition, though I continue to play in competitive men’s leagues currently. Playing at MSJ was an honor. I had the privledge of playing with 9 future Division 1 players and 4 of them went on to play professionally after college. We were ranked #1 in Baltimore City from 2011-2013 and won the Baltimore Catholic League championship in 2012 and 2013. We were invited to play in tournaments all over the East Coast and played against the best high school athletes in the nation, many going on to play Division 1 and professionally.

Clients can expect drills to improve a player’s skills in all aspects of basketball: dribbling, shooting, passing, rebounding, and defense. Clients can expect dribbling drills to warm up; cone drills to improve agility and acceleration with the ball; layup, short-range, mid-range, three-point, and free throw shooting drills; finishing in traffic; passing; rebounding; and defensive drills.
