Our bodies are our machines. Sessions take the athlete through a dynamic safe warm up. The body of your sessions will include fun and challenging sport specific agility/cardio drills that will help to improve timing, speed, spacial awareness, footwork and drills to connect mind to motor. The strength segments will focus on overall strength conditioning, incorporating exercises that simulate tennis movements through the appropriate planes of motion. Always mindful of core work, we will use our cable machine, light olympic lifts and a myriad of functional training equipment to work the full body. The sessions always end with a cool down and complete stretch. My decades of experience tune me right in to modifying and coaching for corrective exercises when there are past or current injuries. As owner of Fortitude Health and Training, your sessions will take place in our amazing 13,000 square foot gym - plenty of room to spread out on our basketball court or with our state of art functional training equipment. Fortitude has received the award of Best Gym, Best Community Fitness Center and Best Personal Trainers for several years running. I received the award for Outstanding Woman in Business 2018 by the NH Business Review. I am eager to meet you for top fitness; together we will get you ready to perform your BEST on and off the court!

Client Reviews

Training with Lisa for.more than 2.5 years has meant committing to increasingly higher standards of fitness and endurance. Under Lisa's tutelage my speed and agility have improved to levels in haven't seen in decades. Each session entails purposeful and precise coaching and pushing beyond what I think I had in me when I walked into the gym. She is masterful at her profession and passionate about her client's success.
Lisa's energy and passion for fitness is infectious. Every session is different, exciting and fun. Whether you're trying to get back in shape, training for a sport, or seeking to achieve personal fitness goals, look no further than Lisa and the team at Fortitude
As a veteran of Fortitude Health and Training, I was always drawn to the dedication of all of the trainers there. A few years ago I started to develop my tennis game and while practicing and playing tennis definitely helped with muscle memory, I was looking to complement that with strength, speed and agility training in the gym. Lisa continues to provide me with creative and fun ways to improve my tennis game while getting a tremendous burn and keeping me in shape. This has not only helped me on the court, but has also improved my overall fitness off the court. Lisa is familiar with the complex game of tennis and this, mixed with her impressive personal fitness experience, results in a unique training that only she can provide!
Currently entering my fifth year of personal training at Fortitude Health and Training, I could not more highly endorse my training program specially formulated for me by Lisa. I tried a few different outlets and gyms to maintain fitness, before landing at “The Fort”. Lisa has customized a fitness program personally tailored to my individual goals of improving and maintaining agility and balance. I can truly say that my overall satisfaction with my personal health is due in large part to this training. There is something to be said about, and there a lot of value to putting the design of your fitness program into the hands of a seasoned professional. Under her 3x per week guidance, my strength and endurance is noticeably improved. The beauty of it is, she puts together the routines, so all my focus can be on execution. I would recommend personal training with Lisa to anyone serious about achieving their fitness goals.
I have been training with Lisa for over 5 years. I train, on average, 3 x’s/week with Lisa, each a 1 hour session. I have been a very active athlete for much of my life and can confidently say that it has been one of the most beneficial experiences for me physically and mentally in trying to achieve a good, sustainable fitness level. Lisa has been able to consistently combine a perfect balance of speed, agility and endurance in each and every training session while having the ability to make appropriate and effective fitness adjustments if I am ever in the mode of managing an injury through recovery. She literally has compiled a few hundred individual and unique training sessions for me, which is impressive in itself, enveloping those important attributes that give you the balance while at the same time ALWAYS keeping it interesting. She is inventive in her craft in that she is always creating new exercises which often incorporate the wide range of fitness equipment she inventories. Lisa also, as she gets to know you, has the gift of “reading” your physical and/or mental disposition on any particular day, whether, as an example, you had a bad experience the previous day or are just experiencing exhaustion from a tough week. This helps her navigate through and ultimately reconfigure a training session, on the spot, if it is warranted for a different situation. Lisa is not only an accomplished trainer. She is also a very insightful and driven individual in many aspects of life to the point where it is contagious and translates into a positive influence on her clients. I consider her a true, great friend and additionally, in many ways, a type of coach for all the many things that life throws at you. I plan on continuing my training with Lisa as far as life takes this journey and as long as Lisa will have me!
My training with Lisa at Fortitude Health and Training has been exactly what I want and need. It is upbeat and positive; functional in that it has helped me to train for tennis and best of all, tough! Lisa is no joke and has whipped me into top tennis shape!
I have worked with many entrepreneurs in my lifetime, but can say without reservation that Lisa Maria-Booth is one of the most intelligent, passionate and committed I have met.  Having done business with her since almost the first day Fortitude opened its doors (Dyn/Oracle hired Fortitude to provide personal fitness instruction to its employees) and benefitted personally from fitness coaching, I have witnessed first hand how she has grown the business and changed individual lives. What makes Lisa unique as a business person is that she has built strong, unique brand, delivered differentiated, innovative and ever-evolving service offerings and a created an uncommon sense of community among her customers.   Lisa has put Fortitude on the cutting edge of her industry with a focus on continual “product” development (the company typically launches a new service almost every six months) and its focus on wrapping a community around its core value proposition of fitness instruction (from events targeted at singles, to ones targeted at whole families, the Fortitude community keeps customers engaged and helps them achieve their goals).  Fortitude’s rapid growth and market traction in the crowded personal fitness sector are proof that what makes Lisa unique as a business person is also making the business a success. What makes Lisa unique as a leader and human is the passionate, personal commitment she brings to changing the lives of the customers that walk through her door.  Her infectious commitment to help every person at the “Fort” understand their goals, develop plans to achieve them, and persevere in their efforts inspires her staff and the community that has grown up around the business.
