More About Coach Laura

I have coached beginners to collegiate athletes and adults with fast moving careers across a wide array of sports to improve their strength and conditioning. I am a certified Personal Trainer and Olympic Weightlifting coach. I am also certified in sports nutrition and provide health and wellness coaching for my clients.

I am a former collegiate rugby and basketball player as well as a light heavy weight boxer. Currently I am a masters functional fitness athlete, a member of USA Weightlifting and USA Triathlon.

The first session is a learning experience for both of us at no charge. I want to know who you are, where you see yourself today and where you want to be tomorrow. Training sessions will depend on the current conditioning status of the athlete. If the goal is to improve strength we will not just hit the weights but incorporate a good bit of band work and power movement to improve rate of force production. If the goal is conditioning oriented the plan will change to meet those needs. There is rarely a one size fits all.
