More About Coach Kyle

I started personally training youth soccer players in 2006 when I was a club soccer player at Mustang soccer club. Once I was accepted to play at UC Berkeley I started coaching their youth soccer camps every summer from 2008-2013. I'm currently the head coach for the 5th-8th grade teams at the French American International School and the head coach for the 2010 and 2007 boys teams within the FC Royale Club in San Francisco, CA. I've also completed all of my grassroots U.S. soccer courses and hold a National D-course license.

My athletic accomplishments started at Mustang in 2007 when we won the Super Y- League National Championship. During this time I had maintained a starting position on the Cal North State Team and Region IV ODP Team. After youth soccer I was recruited in 2008 to play for UC Berkeley. During my time at UC Berkeley we won the PAC-12 championship in 2010 and advanced to the elite 8 in the National Tournament.

I start every session with a 10 minute dynamic warm up with the ball while intergrading stretching. Following the warm up is the main focus area of the day. Some examples could be: first touch, ball control, shooting, defending, or vision. After the main focus area is completed we'll focus on speed, strength, and agility and end with a cool down.
