I have 6 years of team coaching and private instruction experience, including at the recreational, middle school, high school, travel/competitive, and collegiate (NCAA DI/III) levels. My most comfortable skills to coach are pitching, hitting, and fielding, but can also work with younger athletes (14u) on baserunning, and catching.

Played for and trained by Oregon State pitching standout, Brianne McGowan (Durfee) in the NV Comets organization. Competed as a varsity athlete at Bishop Manogue HS in Northern Nevada, with multiple successful outings on the mound. Recruited and played at Emory University (Atlanta, GA) for 1 1/2 years before retiring due to injury. Experience playing pitcher, designated hitting, and the occasional 1st base.

My focus in lessons is to teach the fundamentals of the game, while also implementing techniques to promote self-awareness to allow athletes to be able to make adjustments on their own. Softball athletes, through empowerment, should learn to be their own advocates and have both strong leadership skills and self-confidence. Alongside skill and leadership development, the mental aspect of the game will be discussed in sessions. Softball is meant to be fun, and fun oftentimes comes with success. Teaching athletes how to be successful in their playing careers is my passion. Softball is an excellent tool to assist young athletes in their becoming healthy and successful adults. Having the privilege to be a part of that process is a blessing.
