Basketball

I have over 40 years experience as a head coach and assistant coach in the sport of basketball. Coached Boys and Girls from 5 years old to 17 years old! Boys and Girls High School Varsity Basketball Coach for over 15 years. NHFS certified, AAU certified, NYSCA level 1,2,3 & 4 certified.I officiated high school basketball games from Freshman thru Varsity boys and girls, as a member of the International Athletic Association Board Officials (IAABO) Board # 34, and the Virginia High School League Officials Association, officiating over 100 High School basketball games in the state of Maryland and Virginia. I also coached basketball at Odenton Christian Academy, Friendnly HS, Westlake HS, Northpoint HS and Thomas Stone HS all schools are in the state of Maryland. Coached basketball at Joint Bolling Anacostia AFB (JBAB) & Fort Meade AFB Youth Centers for over 20 years for all ages girls and boys winning numerous of games and championships during my tenure.

Coached Boys and Girls at Odenton Christian School, Laurel Boys and Girls Club, Wheaton Boys and Girls Club, Charles County Elite Track Club and Westlake High School. Very experienced in Sprint running as well as Long Jumping. Specializing in the 55m, 60m, 100m, 400m, 800m and 4X100, 4X200, 4X400 relay running, shot put,, long jump and high jump.. Strength and endurance training and basic track fundamentals fully experienced and exercised during track training as well as health and fitness coordination education Southern Maryland Christian Academy Girls Varsity Track Team / 2022 Maryland Independent School Athletic League (MISAL) Track Champions.

Played basketball at Wheaton High School as PG, also played basketball for the Army Post Basketball Teams at Fort Belvoir, Va. and Fort Bragg, NC., 1981-1982. Played point guard as a member of the Army Post Basketball Team in Giessen, Germany in 1983, averaging 15 points, and 8 assists a game and the Army Post Basketball Team in Wildflicken, Germany in 1987, averaging 17 points and 5 assists per game. As a coach at Friendly HS won 3 Maryland State Boys Basketball Championships, won 2 Maryland private independent titles boys & girls at Odenton Christian Academy and won 3 Boys & Girls City titles in Alexandria Va at Charles Houston and Patrick Henry Recreation Center. Coached 25 Division 1 basketball players and 3 NBA players.

Basketball

Work on strength and stamina, especially upper body strength. Work on basic fundamentals such as dribbling, shooting, eye, hand and foot coordination,passing, free throw shooting and rebounding as well as court knowledge and awareness. Running and conditioning is a must in my sessions. Teach my clients everything that I know about the game of basketball and to be highly competitive while playing

Track and Field

Basic Fundamentals in developing fitness coordination in running and health. Focusing on strength, stamina and endurance as well as conditioning in running and jumping. Pinpoint runners strength and weaknesses that would help gravitate and exploit potential runners and jumpers skills and enhance their strengths into becoming string in whatever event that the runner want to pursue. Weightlifting and Vertimax training for potential track and field runners.
