More About Coach Kenya
I have worked as a player coach for recruitment camps at Yale University and I also coach for one of my old club team, TLC, during the summers, and I have given private lessons as well. I've coached from 8th graders up to rising seniors in high school, but I also love working with younger children as I was a day camp counselor for many summers before.
Growing up in Baltimore, I started lacrosse at a very young age and never stopped. That being said I have played lacrosse since I was four playing rec league until about fifth grade where I then started club. I played for the Park School of Baltimore and TLC (my club team) from 6th grade until I graduated in 2018. Along with being on a very successful club team, during high school I was awarded All-Conference three years straight, as well as being named a US Lacrosse Academic All-American my senior year. I committed to Yale the beginning of my sophomore year of high school. At Yale I have been a starting defender/midfielder since my freshman year.
First and foremost, I have played every position in my lacrosse career, so a client can expect a very well rounded instructor. I will work on whatever it is the client wants to work on and create and incorporate drills that fit their desired needs. However, of course sometimes a client may not know exactly what it is they want to work on, or they might just want extra reps, in which case we can together do a sort of evaluation of skills they might be able to focus on and from there develop a program that's good for them. In a basic session we will start with some sort of warm-up and stick work, followed by some footwork (passing and shooting footwork for attackers and midfielders, and defense footwork for defenders), then we would do drills to work on specific areas the client wants to focus on that day, and we could finish out with a 1v1 or two if the client desires and of course a cool down.

Simply amazing. I honestly should write a terrible review as to keep her to only coaching my daughters but she’s the best
