More About Coach Kayla
I have assisted with coaching the girl’s varsity basketball team at FDA 1 in Harlem. I have coached all ages, but specifically middle school and high school. At the moment, I don’t have any certifications but I am working to get my coaching certification.
I have played all 4 years of varsity basketball in high school. I am currently playing my 2nd year of college basketball at CCNY. Although I do not have any physical attributes I pride myself on my work ethic and dedication of learning the game.
Every session will start with some type fundamental drill that will help with the focus of the session. My main focuses are on attention to details and execution. Depending on the level of the athlete, they will be put through a series of drills that work on shooting efficiency, ball handling, footwork and defense.
