More About Coach Katy
During my time from high school to college I have trained players with all different levels of experience. I coached youth camps throughout my time at Penn State and the University of Kentucky. I am willing to work with all age groups. My goal is to develop a strong work ethic while improving my player's technical skills within the game. I was coached by some of the top coaches in the nation including Erica Walsh, who recently coached in the Olympics with the USWNT. I also played with the best players in the country at the USA youth national camps and I would love to share my knowledge in our training sessions.
I played soccer at the highest collegiate level. I recently graduated from the University of Kentucky as a team captain and starter for all three years. I was fortunate enough to be named the 'SEC Player of the Week' multiple times in my career. I also attended Penn State for a year and won a Big Ten Championship and reached the Elite Eight. I grew up attending the US national team camps where I played against the top talent in the country and received coaching from world class trainers and coaches.
A session plan will depend on the individual and their position. We will incorporate many variations of technical drills and help develop the player to be comfortable on the ball. My goal is to empower the player to believe they can reach their goals through hard work and fun!
