More About Coach Justin

I have worked with athletes at the Jr.High, High School, Collegiate and semi-professional levels. I have coached quarterbacks, kickers, and receivers/tight ends as a position coach. I have also provide one-on-one and small group sessions on throwing technique, strength and conditioning, and injury prevention/rehab work. I have been fortunate to work with a wide range of athletes but most of my passion and experience is in coaching Jr. High/High School players.

I grew up outside of Houston, TX and was named an All-District quarterback at Conroe HS, TX, 2007-2008. I was recruited to Colorado where I played quarterback at the Air Force Academy Prep School and Air Force Academy, 2008-10. While serving in the Air Force, I played quarterback in the Guam Football League for the Island Eagles, 2x Island Champs 2017-2018.

We will start off with a warm up, including dynamic movements, ball handling drills and mobility prep specific to the workout. The workout starts with throwing drills (with and without the ball), and footwork on equipment such as speed ladders, resistance bands, and agility cones. Then we will transition into throwing routes, coverage scenarios, and route progressions. We will finish with conditioning, cool down, and soft tissue recovery work through stretching and on foam rollers/lacrosse balls. Other skill positions (RBs, WRS, TEs, and DBs) would equally benefit from the session as each drill can easily incorporate and/or center on these positions as well.
