More About Coach Juan
I have experience coaching Boys and Girls soccer, I coached at Feaster Elementary School in Chula Vista, CA for 6 years, I coached at Chula Vista High School for 8 years JV and Varsity (Won League several times and State Championship once). I was assistant coach at Southwestern College in Chula Vista, CA for 2 years were we won League once. I also coached Varsity Girls at Godinez Fundamental High School in Santa Ana, CA. My coaching strategies depend on the athletes needs and ability levels, I will create a plan that fits the needs of the athlete in order to reach zone of proximal development. I am also a High School Physical Education Teacher.
I played at 3 different high schools all Varsity level, Corona High School (Freshman), Irvine High School (Sophomore) and Chula Vista High School (junior and senior year). College Captain at Southwestern College 2 years, MVP recognitions at both high school and college level. Coaches awards, League championships, all-star games. State and International tournament.
All my lesson will include dynamic warp-up, focus drills depending on position and skill development needs. I like to create mutual realistic goals in order to reach skill development.

Coach Juan was great! He listened to what we wanted to work on for our 10 year old daughter and after just a few sessions we saw an improvement. He had her doing drills pertinent to what she wanted to improve on and also made sure to include in the session the importance of stretching and conditioning as an athlete. He's given constructive feedback and positive reinforcement, which has helped to increase my daughter's confidence in the game. We definitely recommend Coach Juan!
