More About Coach Joseph

I played basketball at Haverford College and then went on to play professionally in the UK. As a two-time captain of my college basketball team, I was responsible for helping mentor and train my teammates during the off-season. I ensured that each player had and followed a structured plan complete with drills that allowed us to improve our win total each year of playing. I was an undersized forward predominately playing the 4/5 in college and overseas but also played on the wing. I've coached every position and specialize in shooting, post work, and rebounding.

First Team All-Centennial Conference (2019)
Academic All-Centennial (2019)
Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All Area (2019)
Two-time captain of Haverford College
3x Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll
4th Player in Conference History to lead Conference in Scoring (17.2) and Rebounding (10.0)
School Records Held: Most Rebounds in Season/Career (184/554); Highest Defensive Rebounding Average Season/Career (6.4/7.4); Most Free Throws Without Miss Game (12-12)

A typical session with me consists of a warm-up, drills that develop whatever the focus of that day is, and then a competition portion. Prior to the start of the sessions, I will communicate with the client and open a dialogue with them regarding what skills they think they are deficient in. Then, as we progress through the workouts I will identify what aspects of the client's skills need additional improvement and adjust the workouts accordingly. The competition portion at the end of the workout is critical as it simulates game-like conditions.
