More About Coach Jordan
I have worked with athletes in one on one as well as small and large group settings. While in high school and college I often ran clinics for younger players. Additionally I would also organize and run strength and conditioning programs for my teammates
I played for the San Diego State Men's Soccer team, where I was named a scholar athlete. Before my collegian I was a three-year starter from the South Texas ODP team from 2006-08 ... A member of the U.S. Soccer Development Academy Texas Rush U-18 team ... Earlier played for the Houston Texans Soccer Club (Red Team from U-11 - U-18) ... I played my high school soccer at Texas powerhouse The Woodlands ... Captained the Highlanders my senior season ... Earned TASCO 5A all-region honors in 2009 ... Was a 15-5A all-district selection for three seasons (2007-09).
My typical training session would last between 60-90 minutes, and I would use many of the same drills that allowed me to maximize my talent as a player. Physically we would work heavily on speed and agility, while building game fitness through the use of plyometric workouts. Technically we would do drills that will help the player in every aspect of their game. These include; proper striking of the ball, first touch, dribbling, working on weaker foot ect..
