More About Coach Jordan

I have coached gymnastics, basketball, and track and field; ages ranging from 4 to 20 years old. I am looking forward to working with competitive athletes and helping them find the joy in what they love to do. I am a NASM certified personal trainer and enjoy helping anyone find a consistent healthy and fit lifestyle.

I was fortunate enough to compete in two sports while attending college, basketball and track and field. In basketball I played for a small division II school. I improved my offense and defense tremendously while working with different coaches/trainers and teammates. I competed at a division I level for track and field at the same college. I was able to make it to the conference track meet and set lifetime PRs in discus. One aspect that helped me excel in my athletic career was being able to translate what I did in training (strength and conditioning) to increase my performance on the track, field, and court.

First an evaluation of overall fitness and well-being will be assessed through an initial session. We will cover work ethic, goals, and commitment. From there we will begin to start putting in the work.
What an athlete can expect from my session(s) is:
Warm up preparation
Objectives for the workout
A workout that will be making progress towards a goal
A focus on weaknesses, turning them into a strength
A mindful coach with experience in strength and conditioning

My number one goal is making sure an athlete can move safely. Going over proper technique and progressions is implemented into my training sessions and provides a base for an athlete to meet their full potential. This is where we start and where you will end, is going to be beyond your expectations.

I had the pleasure of training with Jordan with for three years. During that time I went from a college basketball player to a Crossfit Games Athletes (2017). I sort of feel as though you will see results with whatever program you do, but the real results come from coaching. Honestly most days you will not be able to bring out the best in yourself to train at a peak level, but this is where awesome trainers like Jordan step in. Daily he was able to motivate me to obtain new standards for myself not only in the gym but outside the gym as well. He always knew when to step on the gas and when to back off on. I will forever be appreciative of Jordan and his efforts to help me reach my goals of a Crossfit Games athlete. Whatever your goal may be, Jordan is the one who will get you there.
