More About Coach Jordan
I have worked with elementary, middle, and high school youth over the course of 3 years. I have experience coaching kids from second grade all the way through senior year of high school. I work with all levels of clients from beginner to advanced. The organization that I have coached, and trained with is KingLife Basketball Academy, where I have been for the last 3 years. I have been brought up by a former Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) Coach of the Year winner (Coach Frankie Jones), and have learned everything that I know from him. I am certified as an AAU coach through PCA.
I played basketball from a very young age all the way through high school. I have experience competing against people on the high school and college level. As a coach I have won a Power2Play tournament, and the teams that I have been a part of have finished high in the rankings multiple times.
A typical session for me will have HIGH energy! I assess the goals that the client wants, and work according to those. If someone, for example, wishes to compete at a high level in basketball, my sessions will be focused to elevate that client's game through drills, competition skill work, and breakdowns of in-game scenarios. I always work on encouraging the client through what they do, and I've never had a client say that they didn't have fun working with me.
