Client Reviews

Coach John is a legend! Gave my son great tips on how to improve his game. Very satisfied!

Coach Egan had a lot of knowledge to share and did a great job explaining shooting and driving concepts. It was a great session, I'm happy I booked it!

Coach John is a great positive coach with kids of all ages. My 10 year old daughter has had a few lessons with him and her skills have already improved tremendously. She worked on ball handling, dribbling and shooting. She enjoys learning from him and has a smile on her face before during and after her lesson. We definitely recommend him if you want to learn basics of the game or improve your skills!!

Coach provided a lot of invaluable tips and drills to work on!

Coach John was an amazing coach!! He gave my boyfriend some great tips and showed him numerous things to work on to improve his basketball skills. He’s very knowledgeable and it shows. My boyfriend has a great session with him and learned a lot from Coach John!

Coach John is the best, not only does he teach the basics of basketball, he’s a wealth of knowledge. Not to mention very good with kids. Sean’s asking for more sessions with John, for a bit of history and more basketball training.

My 15 yr old just had his first lesson with Coach John. Coach John has a ton of knowledge about the game and his professional experience gave my son a comfort that he knows what he is doing. Coach John kept it fun but made it challenging. The drills he showed him relates directly to what my son needed. We'll be scheduling more lessons.

My son has attended dozens of camps, a couple of coachup private lessons with different guys and played for various school and town leagues.

The single lesson with John was by far the most transformative. He gave him a dozen exercises and drills which were invaluable.

Excellent coach and a great guy!

Very experienced coach!

Thank you Coach Egan my son enjoyed his training session with you, he said that he learned some things that weren’t being taught to him in High School Basketball.

Coach Egan is great! He’s very attentive to my son, who is a sophomore in high school. He’s tailor-made each session to further develop my son’s skill set and prep him for moving to the next level. He’s been very creative and thoughtful in the drills he’s had my son run through and the “homework” he’s assigned. I’m really looking forward to seeing how these sessions translate at game time for my son this season. My son and I both highly recommend Coach Egan.

Update: Only a quarter of the way into the season and the impact Coach Egan’s instruction has had on my son’s game is impressive. My wife remarked about how much more confident and aggressive our son plays this year compared to last year. I’ve witnessed my son using some of the moves and techniques Coach has taught him to great success. As a father, my heart swells each time I hear the crowd audibly react to my son’s play. As far as I’m concerned, the time and money spent with Coach has been a wise investment that is already paying dividends.

Coach John is a great coach. He is good with kids and coaches in a friendly manner. My son scheduled training with him and was very much benefitted. I recommend Coach John.

Coach John brings his real-world NBA successes as a player and coach to each session. He takes you through some great drills and quickly identifies your weaknesses, teaching how to improve and excel. Maybe more importantly, he shows you how he differentiated himself from his peers by tirelessly working on his eye-hand coordination, strength and control. His obvious command of the game is apparent from the moment the workout begins. I cannot say enough about the impact he has had on my 15 year old son after just 2 one-hour sessions.

Coach John did a great job working with our son. Solid focus on fundamentals and situational skills.

Great session with coach John, he pointed out a few weaknesses and gave me some pointers on how to improve my game overall.

Coach John is an amazing coach!! In our first my 14 year old son learned more than he has in the past 8 years of playing basketball. He is funny, motivating and has an awesome personality!! He taught NBA players after playing in the NBA. Can't wait to see how my son progresses with him coaching.

My child is 14 and just started playing basketball. Coach John was great about starting with the basics and his shot improved considerably after just the first session!

My son really enjoys going to Coach John! He says he likes his energy & he has great tips. He feels like he will improve a lot from his lessons. Thank you Coach John!

Coach John is a great coach for my 9-year old son. He knows how to motivate and encourage him to work hard...and probably even more importantly, Coach knows how to keep him focused and interested in learning and improving on his basketball skills.

Coach John is a great coach he focuses on definition and knowledge.

John, Did a great working on some fundamentals with my son and helped build some skills that will help him throughout the season and into the future

Coach John is excellent and we will continue to learn from him. He brings the old school fun back to bball where today's high school coaches continue to coach in a discouraging way. No, not all coaches profess in a discouraging way, but as an aau coach, I hear it from 11 of 12 of my players year in year out.

John was amazing and patient. Connor enjoyed all aspects of the session.

Excellent coach. Patient and knows his stuff! Coach john has his own wealth of knowledge as a player and coach on techniques that has helped improve my (sons) games including footwork that always gets the ball in to drills to keep up with at home and ready for the next training. We will continue to work with him every weekend, we have had 4 sessions already...

Very knowledgeable. Coach John really knows the game
