This is a very subjective question. For a first time lesson plan, this would be different for a 5 year old vs a 16 yrs old on a high school team, or a high performance student. For a little lad so so important for him or her to have fun. You have to be an entertainer. Kids a bit older you can instill learning timing and form. Technique obviously very important at any age. Theres a million games to play as games, and games that become competitive. My sessions are always filled with engaging the students. Specific drills are only going to be as good as the coach doing the drill.
