I played high school baseball. I was recruited by Marietta College in Georgia, St. Joseph Puma (indiana) Centenary College (shreveport League) out of High School. I became a wildland firefighter in Arizona and a father.
I currently hold the position of Travel Director for our youth league.
I have coached succesfully for the past 8 years. Private instructions for youth for at least 10 years. Age range 8u to 15u. I am a professional Firefighter for the City of Anderson and have days off. I typically have a winter camp thru February to keep me busy however i am looking to do my own thing. I typically teach postion. I caught as well as pitched. I threw a 92 mph fastball and still play softball to stay sharp.. I am able to teach about any infield position.

In my coaching experience I have learned that 1 on 1 can only be affective if you as a Coach have the students full attention. Meeting a player for the first time is difficult enough to start immediate coaching. However a lot is getting to know the student. I am a father of 3 children ages from 14 year old daughter, and two sons 8 and 3. I am a hands on teacher. I will show a student what I am teaching. I am well known for as the coach that will leave practice with band aids. I am very disciplined. Yelling is not a option however I will use the phrases "eyes forward, ears open" and "hydrate". I teach by repetition as well as what I like to call "start over drills". Keeping it simple is the easiest and most affective way to build a player and the ability to show a student and proving your theory is most effective to gaining trust and loyalty in a student.

Coach Jeremy was a great coach. After one session my son felt very happy with the training and techniques he learned. He is very excited for his next session. Definitely top notch!! I would recommend Coach Jeremy to anyone.

Jeremy is amazingly patient and has various techniques for teaching children with a variety of weaknesses/challenges. I love the improvement I've seen with my son just over the course of a couple of months. We're blessed to have found him!

Sessions are fast-paced and hard work but still fun. My 10 yr old enjoyed each lesson and looked forward to the next one. Learned so many techniques and drills for the corrections we need to make in order to keep improving.

Coach Jeremy was great with my 10 year old son! He was patient and energetic and really made the session fun while also working on the things that we wanted to correct. I would recommend him to anyone that is looking for an instructor.

Last season Coach worked my son Chase over 10 sessions... He's approach to teaching is well recieved and is to the point... Coaches session are high tempo and very aggressive.. Chase has moved to 3rd hitting spot on his travel team and became a much more productive hitter... I recommend coach to anyone that "loves" this game and wants to be better... Darrin Maxwell
