More About Coach Jarryd

Skilled athletic performance trainer that has experience working with high school athletes that have made their way unto the National recruiting scene, as well as a few Division 1 athletes. I have helped these athletes improve upon the attributes of speed, agility, quickness, and endurance helping them to not only remain competitive, but to outperform the competition at a high level.

Earned High School 2nd team All-League Honors in 2002 playing in the Moore League in Long Beach, California. Played one year of Junior College football at El Camino College in Torrance, California.

Sessions consist of a 10 minute warm up period, followed by extensive stretching period. The second phase of the workout includes some core and upper body strength training. Lastly, the athletes will participate in agility, quickness, and speed drills using various types of training equipment. Different drills will be run every session in order to help the athlete condition the muscles that are used to play their sport at a high level.

Coach Jarryd is a good coach. On our first session he came up with a few excersizes and stretches to evaluate my 9 yr old daughter so he can come up with a plan to help her increase her speed and agility. Coach Jarryd knows how to get through to her and explain in detail the mechanics over her movement and how to correct. Coach Jarryd is a fantastic professional, who has passion for teaching football. During my son's lessons, I have noticed Jarryd has the unique ability to be friendly, yet challenging, and as a 4th grade teacher, this is a rare quality. Already, my son has increased his speed, agility, and overall coordination, so much so, that I've noticed an improvement, not just in football, but the other sports he plays. Because of this, I asked Jarryd to work with my older daughter to help improve her footwork and speed in soccer! After a few sessions, now she wants to play football! For a parent, who wants to sleep in on Saturday morning, I enthusiastically wake up, drive out of my neighborhood, because this guy is great with my kids!
