PGA member for 20 years. PGA Head Golf Professional at Winthrop Golf Club from 2000-2019. Current Medway High School Varsity Golf Coach. I have helped improve the golf games of players of all ages and abilities. I believe in a positive and patient approach.

NEPGA Club Professional Golf Tournaments. Played in numerous and various Pro-Am events all around New England. Competed on the NEAA Professional Tour as an Assistant Golf Professional at Blue Hill CC in Canton, MA. Before that was Captain of my High School golf team.

Focus on fundamentals, grip, stance, posture, and ball position. Then address the mechanics of the swing. Proper footwork and balance are key. Students will be given a series of drills tailored to their individual games. We also focus on proper stretching and flexibility to improve the golf swing.

Coach James is a great coach! I had very limited golf experience initially but after three lessons, I feel much more confident in hitting the ball. There were a lot of helpful drills and I wholeheartedly recommend him.

Coach James was excellent.
Both my 12 year old son and myself worked with him. It only took James watching us hit just a few balls for him to see what it was we each needed to adjust and work on. He also gave us fun drills to make the corrections and to practice on our own. What makes Coach James different from others, is that he is able to explain and simplify what he is teaching. He is also very positive and helped me keep the game in perspective. “Golf is not a game of perfect!”

We will continue to work with Coach James and my brother and nephew are working with him too.
