More About Coach Jacob

I've coached athletes of all ages, both professionally and recreationally, through the use of my NASM training certification obtained at the military academy Norwich University. My passion for coaching started as a young high school athlete coaching youth soccer which developed into part time work instructing classes of adult Muay Thai kickboxing, Krav Maga, and children's Kenpo Karate. Since then I've instructed through my military career and still continue to coach the Brockton High School wrestling team successfully.

My passion has always been combat sports ranging from an 8 year foundation of wrestling, a first degree black belt in both Muay Thai and Krav Maga, to a US Army Infantry blue cord. I have been a division 1 south section champion as a coach and athlete, as well as a 2 time NAPAGA (Pankration) tournament champion. A several time Spartan Race top 100 finisher and obstacle course enthusiast to include Battlefrog and the New England Fitness Challenge (NEFC).

My sessions vary depending on the needs of the athlete and their personal goals. Through the use of sanitary collegiate wrestling mats and training equipment on site, some sessions may focus on intense paced movement, cardio, or strength training where others may be geared towards technique and strategy. Sessions last between 45-90 minutes depending on the athlete's ability.
