More About Coach Hemie

I have 15+ years of coaching collegiate track and field, football, and women's lacrosse. I have coached both short and long sprinters, but my specialty areas are coaching long and triple jumpers. In lacrosse, my specialty area is coaching defense. In football, I have coached both offense and defense. I am willing to work with middle school age to adult athletes both male and female. I am willing to work speed and agility footwork drills and any kind of technique and skills you need.

I was a track and field and football athlete at the high school and Division III levels. I competed collegiality at Luther College. I was multiple time track and field conference champion, and All-state selection, amongst other athletic accomplishments at the high school level. I am also on the top ten list in one event for my collegiate Alma Mater. I competed two years as a Semi-professional football athlete. As a coach I have coached over 30 all-conference track and field and football athletes, 1 school record holder in track and field, 7 track and field all-Americans, 3 conference champions, 8 IWFL All-Pro selections, and 1 NFL Undrafted Free Agent Signee.

My sessions will last anywhere form 30-45 minutes. All sessions will begin with a warm-up and stretch session to help prevent injuries. Within the sessions, I will have instruction periods and work periods mixed in. The work periods will be high intensity with small breaks in between. My goal is to try and work with you and and your athlete to get a workout that is as personalized as possible. Basically you tell me what you are trying to get accomplished and I will work out a plan to fit your needs.
