More About Coach Hannah

Throughout my life, I have always tried to promote the passion I have for lacrosse to the youth. During my time in high school, I often volunteered my time to help coach youth teams. When reflecting on my time at college, I also volunteered my time to help assist my head coach with clinics and camps. Being a member of the Seton Hill University Women's lacrosse team allowed me to learn different coaching techniques and drills. Also during college, I received a degree in Exercise Science which has given me a large amount of knowledge on how to train athletes. I am willing to train any individual that has a large passion for the sport. Being involved in lacrosse since the age of 10, I have been able to experience the sport at all levels.

I played collegiate lacrosse for Seton Hill University. During my career there, I started every single game as a defender. Seton Hill University is in the PSAC ( Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference). Being a captain my senior year, I helped lead our team to our first ever NCAA appearance. My sophomore and senior year, I received third team all conference. Every season, I received the Scholar Athlete award.

A client can expect a session to be broken down into two components. First, the client will engage in aerobic or strength training. Then when their muscles are more fatigued, we will begin working on the skill component. If a client can complete a session with fatigued muscles, then they will excel when it comes time to put their skills to the test. Depending on what position the client is, will depend on the specific drills that they will complete. For example, if I was training a defender, we would begin our session with footwork and correct ground ball technique. From there, we would work on clears (for less advanced clients, we would work on stick work fundamentals). I am willing to research new drills for each session so that each session seems like the first time. I believe that the best lacrosse players have great stick work, and are able to run; during our sessions, we will work on both!
