More About Coach Gregg
Harvard Masters Degree. One year at University of Texas Basketball facility learning basketball strength and conditioning from current Philadelphia 76ers strength coach Todd Wright. 17 years experience training collegiate and adolescent athletes with superior education in biomechanics and highest Strength and Conditioning Certifications. Fellow of the worlds foremost authority of Applied Functional Science the Gray Institute. Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches association. Strength and Conditioning Internships at Harvard and Basketball facility at the University of Texas. 6 years as Strength coach at Catholic Memorial School working with middle school and high school boys.
Originally from Maine where I was all conference in three sports and then played baseball and football in college at the division three level.
Adapting to the athlete is top priority. For adolescents I ensure the experience to be fun and enjoyable while instilling confidence and work ethic.
The first few sessions are a discovery period of the athletes limiting factors toward their goals.
1. Biomechanical Analysis.
Foot function, thoracic spine mobility, hip mobility, assymetries, balance and stability.
2. Basketball skills analysis
Physical command of the basketball specific positions for example; the beginning and ending of jumping in multiple directions.
If the athletes weakness is physical ability then the proceeding sessions are a combination of basketball skills and foundational strength.
If the athletes weakness is basketball skill specific then I develop specific drills to improve the limiting factor.

Great first session. Coach Gregg was very interested in learning about what makes my son tick and what types of things that he can improve on as well as self obstacles that he faces.
Jerod (CoachUp client)
Coach Gregg is a great coach. His patience and ability to relate to younger athletes is amazing. I would recommend his services to anyone looking to get better.
