More About Coach Eric

I have been playing and more recently coaching basketball for 20 + years. I have played collegiately and have also coached on the college level. I have a coached all levels from toddlers to high level division 1 athletes. My specialties are shooting, ball handling, and footwork. I enjoy working with athletes of all ages and skill levels on improving their game and becoming the best player they can become. My workouts generally consists of high intensity drills that work on your game while at the same time get you in better cardiovascular shape.

I was a four year letter winner at Arcadia University where I scored 1,000 points. After my playing career I decided to get into coaching. I started at Delaware Valley College where I helped lead them to the first conference championship in school history. I was there two years and the pleasure to coach two all Americans. My most recent coaching position was this year at Chipola College in Marianna, Florida. Chipola was voted the #1 Junior college of the decade and during my time there I was privileged to coach many high major division I athletes and our team was ranked number one in the country for a period of time and ended ranked in the top ten. I have done one on one training at each of my coaching jobs and know what it takes to compete on the highest levels.

My sessions run typically anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour and are designed to improve the athletes overall skill and also condition the athlete physically at the same time. They normally start with ball handling and footwork and then progress thru the different areas of the athletes game that need the most work.

Coach Eric has done a great job with Asher. Eric customizes our sessions to work on the skills and footwork specific to Asher's needs and role. He is very patient and explains situational awareness to Asher as well. Overall we both are very happy and Asher's confidence has grown already. Definitely would recommend Eric to others.
