Enoch G.

I am a graduate of St.Paul Highland Park high school where I was a two sport student athlete. I am the president and founded twin cities basketball academy in 2009. I began coaching 5th graders in St.Paul’s Rondo neighborhood at Jimmy Lee recreation center in 2000. While there, my teams won back to back state championships and many of my players went on to star at the high school and even the college level. I was a part of the MN Outlawz coaching staff which finished in the elite 8 at the 12u AAU nationals tournament held in Lexington, Kentucky in 2004 before going down to coach the k- 2nd and 3rd- 4th graders at Jimmy Lee. After leaving Jimmy Lee, I went on to coach at the 9u level during the AAU season for the Minneapolis Urban Stars followed by the 14u’s for the Minnesota Hustle program during the summers before deciding to take a break on coaching a team and put my focus more on player development and that’s when I decided to turn my passion and love for the game into a business.

I started to run skills clinics, camps and train clients who wanted to improve on their games to make their traveling and high school teams throughout the metro and surrounding areas, after two years of starting my academy I was presented with an opportunity to coach high school girls at Como Park in St.Paul. The first of my academy's AAU team was formed in 2012 consisting of 4TH grade boys from the metro area and state who competed throughout the Midwest. I display a lot of energy and dedication towards running a successful program by continuing to be a student of the game. I regularly attend some of the nation’s top coaching clinics and have coached basketball camps at Marquette University, and pro camps like Kevin Loves of the MN Timberwolves just to name a few.
