More About Coach Emmy

My experience coaching began at 16 coaching u12- u14 indoor volleyball camps under Ex Olympic coach Bill Neville. I coached and played under him until college where I coached indoor volleyball camps for Gonzaga university, followed by coaching beach volleyball camps for Louisiana State University. These camps ranged between u8-u18. After completing my professional career in Sweden I came back home and coached juniors and adults in beach volleyball and indoor volleyball. I have recently moved to Dallas and have continued coaching private lessons in indoor volleyball and beach volleyball. I am USAV verified, Safe Sport Certified, and posses a CAP 1 accreditation.

In Highschool I was selected as an Under Armor All- American and was also MVP of the Under Armor All- American games. While playing indoor volleyball for Gonzaga University I was invited to two national team tryouts, selected as a member of the A2 junior national team, and selected as 1st all West Coast Conference. During my beach volleyball career I played in two national championships finishing 5th in the nation for both, selected at one of 25 pairs for USAV national championships, and named CCSA national pair of the week. After playing beach volleyball I played professional indoor volleyball in Sweden for the number one ranked team in the Nordic region.

My sessions normally run 1-2 hours depending on age of athlete, number of athletes in a session, and athlete goals. Prior to the session we will discuss goals and focus for the individual athlete so I can best understand the athletes desired out come of the session. Based off of this information I will tailor the session to best meet the athletes needs. I find most often that younger athletes need drills focused on ball control, while older athletes tend to need drills focused on decision making and strategy.
