I have been giving lessons in hitting and catching for two years now from ages 8+. I have also coached a 12u travel team last summer and will coach a 16u team this upcoming summer. I coach with Peoria Sluggers Gold teams in Peoria, IL.

I play college softball at UIC and started my freshman year. NFCA All America Scholar Athlete in college. 3 time all state player in high school. 3 time all conference player in high school. 3rd team All region team in high school.

I can work with hitting or catching. For both, I like to break the mechanics down in the beginning and end with a fun competition game. With catching, I would like to know beforehand what the focus of the day is (blocking, framing, throwdowns) and I will create a plan off of that. For catching, I will also include some strength exercises within the drills. For hitting, we will start off the tee breaking down the basics and then move to front toss. Once we get to front toss I will work with timing. If wanted, I can also work the mental aspect of the game and hitting.
