More About Coach Emily

I have been coaching youth goalkeepers for about 7 years now. From young goalkeepers who aspire to play at the highest level of Academy, to seniors in high school committed to play Division 1 soccer. I can work with any age, in any size group. I coached all of my college summer goalkeeper camps at University of California Berkeley AKA Cal which are Division 1 scouting camps.

Currently I am a Professional Goalkeeper for the Chicago Red Stars, 2018 is my rookie season.
College accolades: 2017 All American, Pac-12 goalkeeper of the year, UC Berkeley record holder in Most shutouts & Saves, 2017 all region team, 2016/2015 2X Pac-12 second team, 2014 Pac-12 Freshman team, America All Freshman First team, played on USA U15, U17, U18, U19, U20, U23 teams

A typical session starts with footwork and passing, because the most successful goalkeepers have great feet along with hands. From that we work on all different services to hands, ground, air and highballs. Everything includes footwork through cones to work with agility and quickness. From that we move into diving and catching together. And lastly finish with power diving, or some type of soccer related game depending on the age group.

Client Reviews

Coach Emily was great with my 11 year old son. She had a great way of working with him on technique and pushing him. We've only had one session so far and I feel like I'm already seeing improvements. He's excited to try more sessions with her. I'd highly recommend her!!

Emily was great with my daughter. She was extremely positive and provided good feedvack. It made for a fun training session. I'll definitely have my daughter train with Emily again.

Coach Emily worked with my son over the summer and did an amazing job preparing him for the high school season! Her work with him made a huge difference not only in his technical performance but also in his confidence. Coach Emily is very positive, energetic and encouraging, and she brings her college and professional experience to the sessions which adds a lot to the quality of the training. Also, she was flexible with respect to scheduling and very reliable.
