Eli Miller

I have been playing goalkeeper for the past 15 years and professionally for the last two years. I have been training goalkeepers for the past 5 years. I have experience training all ages of goalkeepers. I hold a NSCAA level 2 goalkeeper diploma and I am working on my Level 3 currently.

I competed for 1 season at UMBC and have played professionally for the past two years. In high school, I was a two-time high school all-American and was named two time defensive player of the year. I held a 85% clean sheet record in my high school career with over 75 starts in my career

I focus on all aspects of goalkeeping. From footwork, handling, distribution, decision making, shot stopping, positioning, among others. Typically I start my sessions with a brief footwork and handling movement to get there body’s and mind’s ready for the session and then move to more game like situations. My sessions are run in 4 different phases and they all have a similar topic. Phase 1 is a warmup and discussing what is the topic of the day. Phase 4 would be a game realistic drill to help them prepare for a game like situation. At the end of each session we do 10 minutes of core work because that is one of the most important aspects of goalkeeping.
