More About Coach Eduardo

Baseball has been a huge part of my life. Not only has it allowed me to make life long memories on the field but it has allowed me to grow as a person and develop great personal skills.
I have played college baseball at the NCAA Division II level and at the Junior College Level. I was member of the UCSD NCAA team that made it to the Division II World Series. I was also one of the founding members of the UCSD Club Baseball team and served as a player coach my first season there. The following year 2011-2012 I served as the team's head coach, led the team to the College Club Baseball World Series.

As the head coach for the UCSD Club Baseball team my overall record was 41-13, 2 division tittles, 1 regional tittle, and 1 World Series Birth.
In 2010 I coached a group of 9-11 year olds for the YMCA RBI baseball program. I feel like I have a great deal of knowledge I've received from college and professional coaches as well as professional baseball players I've played along side with. I love teaching and helping players become better at what they do.

My session plans are not set, they would vary depending on the individual and what we set out to accomplish. I can coach any position, catching is my primary position and I have a great deal of experience with it, hitting is my passion and I know a great deal about pitching.

-Member of NCAA Division II World Series team.

-Head Coach of NCBA World Series Team

Depends on what the goal is with each athlete and the age/skill level of each player.I will manage their progress through each session to develop their skills.

Hitting: I'd walk my players through a proper warm up to avoid any type of injury. During our first session I would like to get an idea of the player's strengths and weaknesses of their swing. Work with them not only by making physical adjustments but teaching them the secrets of hitting and understanding how to become a better hitter. I would work my players through hitting off a t, front toss and progressively work up to live batting practice. At the end of every session I would advise my players on drills to do in between meetings.

Fielding and Pitching: It would vary depending on the skill level of the player.

I can't say enough about Coach Edwardo, my son had 6 sessions with him and has improved his skills in all the fundamentals of baseball. Edwardo was great and really worked on my son's weaknesses . I could tell that my son's baseball skills have definitely gotten better in batting, catching fly balls and especially fielding ground balls. He got my son ready for this up coming season and I definitely will have him work with Edwardo next season. Well worth the money.

I saw instant improvement! My son has been to several different facilities to do private lessons and we have seen very little improvement. We will be using Eddie from now on. I would recommend Eddie to anyone looking for private lessons.

I was very impressed with Coach Eduardo's teaching skills after his first lesson with my son William. Coach Eduardo was very positive and detail oriented. William was excited after his lesson, and is looking forward to his next session.

My son is a late to the game of baseball. He discovered he had a passion for the game several years after most kids have already been playing. Little League was less than welcoming when we mentioned that he had not played before and was 13. Not wanting to see him lose the enthusiasm for the sport we decided to hire someone to help get him up to speed and be able to compete with kids his age. We tried to help him but are not exactly experts. We met Coach Eddie and believe we made the best choice possible when selecting someone to help mentor him. My son appreciated his approach to coaching. Patience is everything when training someone. When one approach wouldn't work Coach Eddie would try another tactic while encouraging him and correcting his technique every step of the way. Never once did he show he was frustrated with our son even when he kept doing things wrong lol. By the end of the first hour our son was connecting with the ball and you could see the how excited he was to have the success. When he got home, he couldn't stop talking about how much he learned and how cool Coach Eddie was. (I hope he never sees this or we will have epic teen embarrassment lol) We will be booking more sessions to get him up to speed and it is worth it. Not everyone can teach what they know. Teaching is an art. Coach Eddie has mastered that art and we are very very happy to have found him.

Absolutely awesome ! A perfect fit for my boys! Coach Eduardo is always on time and prepared! We have had a couple sessions with him already and the boys have learned so much! We are just beginning in baseball, but you can tell right away that coach Eduardo could easily coach a player of any skill level! He is extremely professional, smart, organized, motivating and patient! We will be doing many more sessions with him!

Coach Eddie was ontime and professional. My son thoroughly enjoyed his first session and learned great tips. We are looking forward to more great sessions with the coach.

Coach Eduardo, is a top notch and very experienced coach with young athletes. After one lesson my 15 yr old son was very impressed with his coaching expertise and his ability to express his knowledge and experience with him. As we come from a small town 2 hours away he felt the trip was well worth it and he will use what he learned from the one session and apply it to his everyday training schedule. He also said that if he had an everyday coach like Eduardo, who knows how far he could go in baseball. He also expressed the desire to use coach Eduardo for future sessions, and from a fathers perspective, I totally agree with my son's comments. We most definitely recommend coach Eduardo to others and rate him with five stars. Thank you, Lambert.

Eddie is absolutely great with our son! Having taken a liking to playing catcher we knew Eddie's experience would help our son however it is not only catching that Eddie has helped him with but also batting. After each practice Eddie evaluates what Kyle needs help on and comes back the next week with specific skills to improve those areas! With Eddie's help Kyle has grown tremendously.
