Taft (14-2, 2-0) was simply too big, strong and physical for Chatsworth, which was coming off a heartbreaking 57-56 setback Wednesday to El Camino Real. Dominick lewis had 10 points, including three 3-pointers.
I believe coach Dominick has tremendous potential and is about creating a learning environment. I am happy he is a part of our team".
Just a quick note to let you know that Dominick was terrific today with 4th grade Attack. We were the 1st game of the day so we had a good half hour to warm up and for Dominick to get to know the team. They won by a comfortable margin today. I was particularly impressed with how quickly Dominick learned our players, the plays, and taught them his own plays. He also handled a few “unsportsmanlike” comments by a few overly confident players really well. Teaching good sportsmanship when a team is up by a lot is important, and it was nice to see Dominick take the initiative with one or two players. Thanks to Dominick for coming out and coaching our game. We look forward to working with him!
