More About Coach Desmon
While playing in the NBA, I began Coaching and Skills Training. I now have over eight years of experience working with professional and elite youth athletes to advance their basketball skills, attitude, and IQ. I work with 8-17 year olds through my AAU Program Vegas Thunder, the Royal Basketball School, and Private Training. After years of successful youth training, AAU championships, and college signings, I was chosen as a lead trainer for the BIG3's youth initiative YOUNG3.
I am a former NBA Player (Super Sonics, Spurs, and Pacers). I also played in the G-League, 10+ Countries Overseas, and the Big3. I am one of the All Time Leading Scorers in the G-League and at the University of Southern California (Fight On!). I was selected as an All American & All Pac-10. I played in the Elite 8 during March Madness, Elite 8 EuroCup, and Top 16 EuroLeague. I am known for my vicious jump shot and electric personality on the court.
Depending on the level of the student, I start out with basics and advance the workout as the player improves. We start our drills off with footwork and ball handling and then move into combinations. We go beyond basketball skills, to attitude, sportsmanship, and basketball IQ.
