More About Coach DeLovell
I've trained kids on an individual level starting in 2008. I've worked multiple high school camps around the area. This summer I will begin coaching at the USAFA Prep School. I typically work with middle school aged kids and up, but I am more than happy to train beginners and young kids.
I was 3x All-State and Player of the Year at The Colorado Springs School. I was offered multiple Division 1 scholarships and chose to attend the United States Air Force Academy. There I was a four year letter man and started for two years, playing in over 90 games in my career despite injuries.
A typical session with me is focused on the fundamentals of basketball. I believe in creating players that have solid skills in all five positions on the court. Skill sets such as ball handling, passing, spot up shooting, creating your own shot, and post skills will be taught. However, I am flexible and comfortable teaching any of the skills you think you need to work on whether offensive or defensive. The intensity of the workout really depends on the level of player, but I will assure you that each lesson will push you to your limits, because only then do players get better. I firmly believe in instilling the disciplines that are needed to be successful outside of the gym as well, therefore what players will take away from each session and what they can get from me reaches beyond the bounds of the gym.

Client Reviews
Coach Robert Cavera, USAFA Prep School (Testimonial)
De is a player who understands the game unlike most players I've coached, and unlike most coaches, I've had the opportunity to coach with. His versatility on the court has afforded him a great deal of knowledge at every position. As a coach, he demonstrated the ability to connect and effectively communicate with players. He was able to identify various players' weaknesses and helped them improve upon those aspects in a manner that made the most sense for each individual player. Having played and coached at a high level, De knows what it takes to make a player successful on the court.
