More About Coach Dave

I have coached individuals in running, with the focus on conditioning and mentor. I have coached youth soccer, and officiated high school soccer. I am a Level 1 Accredited Interscholastic Coach certified through National Federation of State High School Association in Track and Field and soccer-NFHS. I am also certified in sports and general first aid, as well as an instructor in sports and general first aid through the American Red Cross.

I have extensive experience running long distance. I have ran and completed several 5K and 10K races. I have one mini marathon under my belt- at the moment. I compete locally at race/running events. I have won first in my age division in several races. I competed collegiate in soccer, the college I attended at the time did not have track and field.

We will meet for 3-5 sessions or days a week with 1-2 days of recovery with low to moderate activity.
We will begin with base training- developing an aerobic foundation along with form, building on these we would begin developing, core strength and mental preparedness/focus.
Weeks 1-4 start with basics of running focusing on form core strength and conditioning.
Weeks 4-TBA Continued core strength, conditioning, pace, and mental preparedness.
Each session we will begin warming up our joints and muscles, moving to drills, next we will focus on training exercises and disciplines for that day- conditioning, core strength, pacing, or mental focus.
