More About Coach Darwin
I have worked with many different types of athletes over my 10 year coaching career. I have trained athletes of all ages from 8-78. I have had the honor of being the one to teach first time lifters how to hold a barbell, and the headache of trying to change the bio-mechanics of a seasoned athlete. The longevity of my career has given me the luxury of making sure my methods are not only safe but that the results are repeatable.
I have participated and done well in many different sports. Firstly I started off as undefeated amateur mixed martial artist. Earning a gold and silver medal in a well known grappling tournament. After scratching that itch I moved on to powerlifting where I was able to rack up elite totals in 3 different weight classes formerly holding state and national records in the sport.
A session with me will begin with a warm up and activation of the posterior chain. After assessing any weaknesses in the athlete we will move on to correcting those weaknesses. Expect anything from conditioning and light weight to heavy maximal lifts depending on what the athlete needs at that point.
