More About Coach Dan

I have over 10 years of coaching experience varying from youth sports to the collegiate level. I currently work as an assistant coach for the Fullerton College women's basketball program. I have my masters degree in kinesiology, with an emphasis on sport psychology/performance enhancement. I have worked with high school teams, Community College programs, and Division 1 athletes on the development of mental skills.

I played 4 years of high school basketball, as well as soccer, track, and diving. I played 5 years of ultimate frisbee for Cal State Fullerton, 3 of which were as captain and coach. I continue to play high level club ultimate.

During a typical session in mental skills, the athlete can expect to learn how to direct the mind during training and performance. As athletes, we often diligently prepare when addressing the physical aspect of performance, and only assume that we are preparing mentally. Athletes will learn how to properly direct their focus, and attack each practice session with a mental plan as well as a physical one.

Client Reviews

Coach Dan is a great coach. He did a great job with both kids (5 and 7). He kept changing up the exercises to keep the kids engaged. He really focused on teaching them the fundamentals, like gripping the Ball and dribbling. Thank you coach Dan

Coach Dan has been working with my three boys aged 8, 10, and 12 on individual skills and drills. They are all on different levels of ability but Dan has been able to provide appropriate training for each of their needs. We've been very happy with Coach Dan and the boys have all responded well to his instruction. He's also a very friendly and easy going person. Has been prompt to our training sessions.
