I have been teaching martial arts for over twenty years. I have experience working with people of all ages and fitness levels. I do not have any industry certifications but I have spent 34 years of my life studying martial arts from around the world.

From 2006 to the present I have competed in a number tournaments. In 2007 I competed in 'The Edge' tournament where I took 2nd place in the continuous knife and in the following year I was the main event challenging the reigning champion. In 2010 I competed in the Purpleheart open where I tied for third place. Recently I placed 2nd at the Short Blade Symposium in Portland. In addition to that, I have traveled throughout the United States teaching workshops and building study groups.

My sessions are dynamic so clients should expect to have fun while being challenged mentally and physically. I tend to focus on root movement, attribute development, flow, and fundamentals.
