More About Coach Dale

I graduated from Luther College majoring in exercise science and a minor in management. While at Luther College I was a student coach for the Women's basketball program. For the last 9 years I have coached high school basketball and track and field as an assistant and most recently as a head coach. Athletes in these programs have gone on to compete at the junior college, DIII, DII, and DI programs. I have worked with ages 8-18 for both boys and girls.

I was a three sport athlete in high school. I then planned on playing college football at the DII level, but major knee injuries ended my college playing career before it really got started and transferred to Luther College and was a student coach for football and women's basketball where I was able to learn from some of the greatest teachers of the game. SEC-East Conference Champs 2018, 2019.

First I would like to know the goals of the client before we have our session. This will allow me to properly prepare for our sessions. Typically we will start with a warm-up. Then we will work on achieving those goals through specific drills. If a client wants to focus on ball handling, then a good portion of the workout will be dribbling and passing drills. If a client wants to work on outside shooting, then we will focus on that. So all sessions will be different based on client wants and needs. Then I will give feedback on other areas to work on based off of the workout/session.
